What is mostly unknown about this services, is that it is not exactly free.  The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently pointed this out in its new series of spoof videos &#8212; aiming to get consumers to go to the government-approved <a href=" http://annualcreditreport.com">annualcreditreport.com</a> (which is actually free).
