Legendary Tejano Singer, Little Joe, Claims ID Theft in Arrest

We came across a story about how legendary Tejano singer, Little Joe, was arrested for writing some bad checks to a tire company in Dallas. Little Joe’s defense? He claims that he was a victim of identity theft and someone else was writing the bad checks in his name.

One thing that seems a bit odd about this story Little Joe has been buying tires from this company for many years, usually paying with cash. If someone was going to steal his identity, wouldn’t they use his cash to buy stereo equipment and other flashier items — not tires from a place he usually shops. Right?

Anyhow, the point of the this story is that nobody is immune to identity theft. Even legendary tejano singers can get caught up in an identity theft web…although this one seems a bit odd.
